The foundational skills of digital image manipulation are instructed using Adobe Photoshop. The essential tools for generating static graphics are combined with animation tools in ImageReady as well as the DHTML and Javascript tools of GoLive or Dreamweaver to construct interactive web sites.

Students are educated in the aesthetics of site architecture and the practical requirements of internal and external navigation. The topics of usability testing, appropriate graphic styles, and resources for e-commerce further equip students with a practical knowledge of the internet environment.
